The Charlotte Observer

This is an article (down below) about my Notice project. It shows how students are noticing and gives a good description. Now, people all the way from England and Brazil have noticed! We are getting the world to notice child abuse. We WILL put a stop to this.

People are beginning to NOTICE

Students at North Meck
Yes. We WILL help put an end to child abuse.

The community is NOTICING child abuse. People are beginning to take action. It's time we get their voices heard, one shirt at a time because NO CHILD SHOULD SUFFER.

Notice. Call. Care.

Child abuse happens every second, of every day. Some people NOTICE Child abuse, but never take the proper action. The Penn. State incident occured because people noticed, but nobody reported. That must stop. How can we stop child abuse if we don't even report it?
Notice. Call. And, Care.
Call your local Department of Social Services to file a report:

(Mecklenburg County.) 704-336-2273
(Gaston County.)  704-862-7555
 (Union County.)  704-296-4300

(Lincoln County)  704-736-8678

(Cabarrus County) 704- 920-2277

Together, we will save a child. One call at a time.

One call is all it takes to be someone's hero!

No More Innocent Children Losing Their Lives

Zahra Baker

Caylee Anthony
Age: 2

It Needs..
To Stop

These two recent cases inspired me to get the community to be aware about child abuse because two innocent girls lost their lives . Nobody noticed that they needed help. If someone had noticed, their lives would have been spared. This must stop. We can't go on living our lives while young children are struggling to hold onto theirs.
But it can't be just us who notice. We need to get the word out.

A picture can influence a thousand words

What I am doing is I am starting an internet campaign where people write on their hands, saying something pertaining to child abuse. I figure, if people see other kids writing a message on their hand, the word will get spread out even more. The four pictures on the left are just a few of my favorites. You can help spread the word by writing on your hand as well, and posting it on my facebook page called Notice Child Abuse. Here are just a few examples of what people are writing:
1. Shatter The Silence
2. There Is No Excuse For Child Abuse
3. You're Not Alone
4. We Can Be The Hero
Thank you for your support.
